1969年にリリースされた2枚組みアルバム「Uncle Meat」、このCDは、そのUncle Meatの発売当時のミックスでの音源のCDと、アウトテイクを2枚のCDに収めたオーディオドキュメンタリー。Uncle Meatは、もともと映画のサウンドトラックとなるはずだったのですが、当時は予算がなくて完成かなわず、のちにビデオで販売されました。今は、そのビデオも入手しずらいですけどね...。
以前のCDは、CD発売時の新曲「Tengo Na Minchia Tanta」と映画のセリフが入っている不思議な編集盤でした。Tengo Na Minchia Tantaは、イタリアのMassimo Bassoliさんのボーカル曲で、ビデオThe Dub Room Special!で見ることが出来ます。ちなみに、ほかのファンもそうだと思いますが、自分もこの部分はいつも飛ばして聴いてました...どうにも好きになれないんだよね。
で、今回のミックスは当時のものを使っているだけじゃなくて、音質もかなりクリアになっていると思います。少なくとも自分の持っている以前のCDの音（ちなみに、自分はこのCDを買ってなくて、レンタルショップに唯一1枚だけ置いてあったZappa師匠のCDから撮ったものです）より音圧も音質もよいと思います。

3枚で、3時間27分36秒、こりゃ聴き応えありますな。ちなみに、Disc 2とDisc 3ともに、単なる曲の断片ではなく、アルバムとしてきちんと成り立つと思います。アウトテイクなのに完成度高すぎる...。
